OMFG! This news is a BOMBSHELL! This is incredible!
According to Chris Matthews, on the day when Eric Holder's appointment of a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR to investigate Bush's torture crimes, Michael Jackson's "murder" is the big bombshell. I mean, this is the biggest thing in the world...MICHAEL JACKSON! OMG! Fuck those people who had electrodes clipped to their balls on order from our Commander In Chief...a pedophile lunatic drug addict rock star died of drug overdose. SHOCKING!

17. Oh, come on...
Michael Jackson dead? Surely something THAT big would have been a major news story.

(I don't know how to make the drippy "sarcasm" thingy appear here so if you can visualize it, that would help me a lot)

2. Thank the good lord above for Chris Matthews
Otherwise, I wouldn't know how to prioritize stuff. Pop stars dying of drug overdoses is far more important than high crimes and misdemeanors. Thanks, Mr. Matthews! Your work inspires us all.

3. This is ridiculous
Who the hell cares about what MJ's doctor did?

I want to hear a whole lot more about how we are going to prosecute the torturers!

6. Coincidence. Just a coincidence. We can trust MSNBC to do the right thing.
No, actually.

There are no coincidences with the MSM and we can't trust Matthews or any cable media outlet for responsible journalism and responsible editorial input.

Even CSPAN seems to have gone awry.

7. Watch the BBC News instead. I get it at the same time Tweety is on.
They are talking about the torture investigation and the special prosecutor in depth and the release of the Lockerbie bomber right now. Not one mention of MJ yet, although they probably will later on in the broadcast, briefly in their entertainment segment.

8. Certainly was the first story on ABC News
and it was the only story a month ago - or whenever he died - even though many still are losing their jobs and do not have access to health care, or have to declare bankruptcy when are faced with huge medical costs.

11. Sibel Edmonds testimony that basically throws the Valerie Plame case into total question
Edited on Mon Aug-24-09 06:27 PM by cascadiance

Also just came out a short time ago today.

It creates big legal questions since it is now alleged in now public and viewable court testimony that the Brewster Jennings unit that Valerie Plame was in charge of and implicitly in that case was exposed when Plame was outed, was in fact exposed a few years ago by potentially treasonous actions by Marc Grossman who was working for Bushco's state department at the time.

Yes, I do think that perhaps its no coincidence that all of these stories are coming out at the same time. Makes you wonder what the M$M will focus on and which it will ignore.

13. Special Prosecutor is to study about 10 cases to see if laws were
broken.

An Independent Prosecutor does serious investigation.
Most do not believe this is some big investigation.
