The Boy Who Heard Too Much
He was a 14-year-old blind kid, angry and alone. Then he discovered that he possessed a strange and fearsome superpower — one that put him in the cross hairs of the FBI.

1. I don't know what to think
I think he knows himself pretty well. Once he gets out, I'd say we might see great things from him. I think I'll stay tuned. Thanks for posting.

2. He seems like kind of a sociopath.
Always some one else's fault, he's always the victim. I would hope he could use his powers for good, but I wouldn't let him near the FBI without considerable psychiatric help.

It is a fascinating article though, and a really good read.

3. Maybe
He's a kid, though. It doesn't sound like he got many of his needs met. And being bullied can make you just crazy as hell without being blind, so definite psychiatric help would be in order. A bit of a genius, though, I think, which can mean a touch of madness. I love Rolling Stone. I haven't subscribed in years, but this inspired me to head to the library to read their issue.

8. I agree. He's almost definitely a sociopath. If so, he can't be reformed. nt

5. Interesting article.
If this were a comic book, this kid would become a sound-based super-villain.

7. Interesting story
its like that "Catch me if you can" guy who as a teenager was able to impersonate airline pilots, doctors and lawyers. I think once he got out of jail he actually went to work for the FBI.
