Supporters of health care reform dominate town hall session
Supporters clearly outnumbered skeptics among the 1,300 people who attended a health care town hall meeting in Kansas City — a first for session organizer Sen. Claire McCaskill.

“It’s certainly the most vociferous support I’ve seen for attempts to reform health care so far,” the Missouri Democrat said. “No question about it.”

That vocal support probably didn’t change many minds at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Swinney Recreation Center, where the hourlong event was held. And it certainly didn’t alter the views of hundreds of opponents of health care reform, who booed, turned their thumbs down and said in no uncertain terms they didn’t trust the government to fix health care...

Democrats said the pro-reform turnout was a sign their party was finally mobilizing just as Congress prepares to return from its August recess and take up health care reform.

1. I wish I could say the same here
Frank Pallone's town hall was dominated by teabaggers. I had to leave early because my blood pressure was going up. FTR Pallone is in favor of a public option.

4. I've been in contact with his office
We got our local groups to come out tonight, but many had concert tickets.

As a result we were outnumbered 10-1

10. The photos are taking
awhile to come up but I can imagine. I get mad even if I see one brainwashed wingnut as a customer at work.

however I will and they're too selfish and greedy to be concerned about their own children and grandchildren.
