I wrote to Senator Ted's office once: EVERYbody writes to Senator KENNEDY (when there is NO hope) |

because I live in an a-hole Rethug state with two Rethug senators and there was NO use writing to THEM.
AND, the rules of our government are that you/constituent needs to deal with YOUR OWN "representatives."
It must have been by phone because the staffer's words RING in my ears to this day:
"EVERYbody writes to Senator KENNEDY."

These people have made public service a bedrock of their lives. They do our country proud, although I am not too enamoured of JFK.
