Dick Cheney interview on FOX TV this morning. |
|
Did anyone see it? He is obsessed with the idea that there is going to be an investigation and that the truth will be discovered about his role. He still supports the EIT's (Enhanced Interrogation Techniques) otherwise known as "torture". He says it kept us safe for eight years? However, I thought they stopped torturing about 5 years ago?? What kept us safe for the last 5 years? Cheney argument does not hold water, pardon the pun. He does not want the truth to come out. He is protecting his own ass. It is obvious to anyone that watched the interview this morning.

2. Yup, he's a frightened little man |
|
And I think he's figured out what I've been saying all along. It no longer matters what the intentions of the Obama administrations were regarding torture investigations. The toothpaste is out of the tube now. As soon as the Justice Department hauls in a few CIA grunts and gets testimony from them somebody is going to blow the whistle on higher ups and the chain of events that lead this whole mess directly to the Dick will be set in motion.
Nothing he can do or say can stop this process now. And as he becomes more and more desperate in his efforts to pull the plug, he will appear more and more culpable.
I think he's afraid that Bush will turn on him and rat him out.

4. That's just the warm up for when he gets on air with Limbaugh |
|
Where the BJ will go both ways. Imagine the two grunting hogs heavy breathing into the mic.
Now I need to pour bleach into my brain. Why, oh why do I do that to myself?!

5. He'll be fighting even if it won't result in his going to trial |
|
The fact is, public opinion already made it's decision - guilty. So he and Liz are out there with one voice, as you know, trying to discredit anybody who wants to even peek at the issues given the new information.
I think they desperately want to keep the fact that people were tortured to death out of the public discussion.

Should be fun. Expect to see Liz(ard) on Morning Joe Scum with Pat Buchanan defending evil daddy.
Fuck them - I hope Dick goes to prison.
