John McCain, Orrin Hatch and other world-class pricks |
|
McCain and Hatch spoke at Ted Kennedy’s wake as “friends.” “Friends” who raised countless of millions of campaign dollars for themselves over their long careers by demonizing their “friend” Ted.
Ted Kennedy called them his friends and colleagues, even though he never exploited their names and reputations the way they did his. Ted was too kind by half.
It seems that Republicans are allowed to say or do anything to Democrats while calling themselves “real Americans.” But God forbid any Dem should question their “patriotism.”
So here’s my point. We Democrats have principals that we constantly betray. And that makes us some of the dumbest sons of bitches on earth. We let our enemies crap on us, and then we answer them by turning the other cheek.
Someone needs to explain this to me: Exactly how many more cheeks are we going to turn before we start fighting back? The person I’d most like to hear answer that question is President Obama.

were not kennedy's "enemies". that is your erroneous assumption that taints your conclusion. they were political opponents.
it's like two ball teams playing each other (well, maybe exception red sox and yankees lol).
by all accounts, kennedy and hatch were good friends, and why not?
