I mentioned that someone I know, Antirepublican did a little research on the sponsors of that host. So, time to get active and see if we can make a difference. At the very least, we can make our displeasure known to the sponsors. Savage has already lost a TV Job, so maybe we can convince a few advertisers and stations to not support his hate.

4. It is even worse

Here is the irony. After Chicago lost its first AAR station, WIND AM 560 was available but Salem -- one of the top conservative outfits -- bought it. If someone friendly to progressive talk gobbled it up, Chicago would have a progressive talk station whose position and signal strength would cause it to act like a 50,000 watt blow torch. Mind you WCPT AM 850 with a much weaker signal and limited hours is tied with them in the ratings. Now, if we only had a better full time station.

Personally, I like to refer to a certain host as the Savage Weiner.

sure, he's nowhere near as bad as Savage, but he's daid some pretty hateful, bigoted stuff and now Air America (for fuck's sake) is putting him on the air
