Policewomen in UC Berkeley found woman kidnapped 18 years ago |
|
As an employee of UC Berkeley, I'm especially proud of these two police officers who followed their 'mom' instincts over their police training. There's a photo of them too. And of that creep kidnapper who is probably the serial killer they're looking for. http://www.dailycal.org/article/106418/ucpd_personnel_prove_pivotal_in_kidnapping_arrest

Mother Nature gave us that as a special gift to keep our kidlets safe:)

That Utah Dad with the little Stepford girl who was recovered, makes my skin crawl.. Why are the Moms not "allowed' to talk:shrug:

a wonderful outcome.
Coincidentally, there was a particular instalment of a series about a Swedish detective called Wallander (the original Swedish version), on our TV in the UK this week, in which it was Wallander's daughter's intuition, in the teeth of the strong prima facie evidence to the contrary, which proved correct.
Maybe that "almost grey" complexion and "robotic", listless demeanour can serve as clues in such cases in the future. Even sexual and/or violent abuse, generally. Presumably, it could manifest as the result of a profound confusion of conflicting stresses and intense emotion.
