Rove Purgerer & Perjurer: E-Mails Never Really Disappear Part II

The comments to . So now the RNC is telling Congress that it is missing at least four years' worth of e-mail from Karl Rove. As Santurday Night Live's Church Lady would say, "How convenient. . . ."

Republican officials (courtesy of RNC lawyer Rob Kelner) said they still hope to "find" the e-mail as they conduct forensic work on their computer equipment. Here's what needs to happen immediately:

FIRST, Republican officials should be ordered to immediately cease and desist from conducting further computer forensics on their computers. They've already acknowledged that they had to take actions specifically to prevent Rove, and Rove alone, from deleting his e-mails from the RNC server.

SECOND, get a warrant to seize Rove's computer. There's abundant probable cause that he was deliberately obstructing justice. It's a tacit admission that the RNC undertook its own Karl Purge Prevention Plan in 2005.

1. I'll bet money Rove has more than one computer.
But it's the blackberry trail we have to follow.

8. Everybody involved in the political campaigns in
2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006 and who work at the WH or DoJ have at least two laptops. One issued by the RNC, and presumably defaulting to the RNC-related e-mail accounts, for political things. The other is a work computer, which presumably defaults to the WH e-mail accounts.

Then there are the private laptops that some undoubtedly have, and their axims or blackberries (official, political, or private).

One guy went public saying he found it so confusing going back and forth between the two that he just shoved one (he said the RNC one) into his desk drawer.

5. Way past TRIBUNAL time in my opinion
KKKarl Rover has committed grave crimes against the people of this country. Seems like a no brainer to me and all I talk with. So why is he still on the payroll and not wearing orange jump suits? What a country we've become, an embarrassment of errors. Why are we living with leaders as foolish as these? sad.

9. "Tribunal Time" it is indeed as we teeter towards a full blown
Constitutional Crisis and "the decider" who doesn't pay attention to polls or newspapers or the will of the co equal branch of government (aka his constituents) babbles on incessantly about his heinously sadistic war on an "abstract noun."

'Tis Tea Party time as well.

Now we officially have "Dog gate." Oh goodie.

With an administration whose primary defense is "I don't remember," perhaps the dog's name is "Servers."

Just for the heck of it, here's a reprise of a prayer from a few weeks ago.

""In the spirit of the collective "We The Sentient Beings of Planet Earth" are creating transparency and accountability in our leadership. We are creating with spirit, restoration of truth and justice, as the true American wayyy. We are creating with spirit fairness in our elections. We are creating with spirit a lasting peace on Earth."

"rinse and repeat"

Have a great weekend and Happy Friday the 13th!

K & R'd

11. Or, in the words of Keith from last night's show:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18092188/

"Of course, in this technologically advanced age, it is a lot easier to say you have deleted an email than to have actually completely deleted it, meaning the White House either worked really hard to break the law and keep evidence from Congressional investigators, or the emails may still exist and could still possibly be found."

18. I agree with you all the way!
I think that there may be some lively internal discussions about this among the committee staffs right this moment, and they as yet don't have consensus on the proper procedure to use. One slip-up in obtaining the equipment and it can be excluded as evidence. They have to be extremely cautious.

I think it would be logical to expect action not long after the procedural details are worked out and they have plans in place.
