A reminder to President Obama before his Wednesday speech, from Harry Truman: |
|
"The President of the United States represents 154,000,000 people. (Now 305,000,000) Most of them have no lobby and no special representation. The President must represent all the people."
You sir, are a very eloquent and persuasive speaker. But, if you are unable to get a bill including a public option to your desk with just your words, we ask that you use all other available means to do so.
You owe it to us. We put you where you are to do exactly this.

2. While I think Obama is pretty ballsy, (After all, he ran for President, knowing full well... |
|
..that there'd be a target on his back.) I'm afraid he's got a little of Clinton's need for approval in him.
He's got to know that it's OK to make enemies for a righteous cause.

That's almost EXACTLY what Ms. Depa thinks- that he wants/needs everyone to love him.
