AMAZING: Watch the 'crawl' under the Fox coverage of Obama's speech |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 08:37 PM by LuckyTheDog
They managed to find stories that allowed them to work in the names "Lenin" and "Stalin" and the number "666" as the president spoke.
I shit you not. I swear. Check the tape.

gave them a nutbag going over the 666 and 999 and Satan, so they got a real story...
Yes, the story is real, even if it belongs in the Onion

9. Sure, it was a real story, BUT |
|
Can it be a coincidence that Fox chose to highlight stories that allowed them to use words like that, along with "666," at that particular time? Can it be a coincidence that Fox chose to write the crawl in just that way?

I'll not let myself go to a fox station on my teevee though. I can watch a clip here on DU but not on the tube

I was watching a video of the Senator shouting liar and I seen it also. I barely paid attention to it, but I did see Lenin, Stalin, and something about mass graves. WTF??

two completely different stories and fully understand both ... is a highly underrated skill.
Too bad most folks simply cannot do it. One or the other is reasonable.
With all the fancy audio equipment, such as surround sound, we should require the audio of the text-based scroll, or scrawl, to sound from one of the back speakers: and for the verbally challenged, have the entire text of the speaker being interviewed, or talking head yapping, displayed onscreen as text.
Then we'd at least level the visual-text based schism.
Of course, the rich don't own TV news stations to make things crystal clear among everyone, it seems they want confusion, the more the better, so I guess I'm still dreamin'...
