6. Too bad they're in captivity. |
|
Totally dependent on humans to feed them from their incarceration for human entertainment,

7. I hear ya, but because they really NEVER lived in the wild, |
|
most likely they couldn't survive on their own either.
I'm torn on this subject. I look at my little dogs and one cat. They were decendents of wild animals at one time too, butbelieve me, if you asked any of them today if they would rather be out on their own and free, or living in a comfortable home, being fed great food, and sleeping on a great waterbed, I KNOW what THEY'D tell you!
Those dolphins didn't look sad to me at all, and even when they were free in the ocean after KAtrina, they searched out humans. I'm just not sure it's bad that they're in captivity.

10. Poor creatures probably don't know how to be proper dolphins. |
|
They expect their fish to come out of a bucket, thank you. They'd probably also have a hard time fitting into a wild pod.

my four coddled, spoiled rotten cats wouldn't know what to do if I wasn't around to feed them upon demand :)
