Dana Milbank says a Dem. congressman gave fascist salute to Obama during speech

Dana Milbank, fresh from calling Hillary Clinton a bitch and having his video section cancelled, today made a major accusation: that during last night's speech, Representive Al Green (D-TX) "pounded his fist," in what appeared to be a "fascist salute," according to Milbank.

But i'm confused; when I search "fascist salute," I get a bunch of pictures of Mussolini and others making an open-hand gesture as opposed to a fist:



Media Matters condemned Milbank's remarks.

9. The problem with "Washington Sketch" is that it's meant to be mildly funny.

It's supposed to be an amusing "sketch" of events, like an editorial cartoon in words.

I wish the Washington Post would cancel it and return Dana Milbank to straight reporting.

He was a good straight reporter, but his "sketch" does more to confuse than inform.
