10. i am totally against privatization of fire or police

(and i have served in both careers), but there are some EXCELLENT private fire dept's.

boeing fire dept, which mainly deals with their facility near the King County Airport (and possibly in Everett. not sure never been there) are phenomenally well trained and professional.

when your job is to prevent and respond to fires involving the kind of equipment boeing has, you gotta be good
