A deadly disease more contagious than the swine flu ?
Edited on Fri Sep-11-09 11:02 AM by kentuck
The symptoms are all around us. People lose all sense of perspective and rationality. They become hysterical and paranoid. Everything seems to be a conspiracy to them. Women get on TV and weep uncontrollably about what the young black President may do to her children. They carry guns to protect themselves at townhalls where the President is speaking. They are delusional and make up stories about things that do not exist. Even Congressmen are exhibiting this dangerous behavior in the halls of Congress. It is a contagious disease which is spreading rapidly.

Where did it all start? Many believe it started with talk radio. A small bit of propaganda grew exponentially into a big lie and swept over all those that listened to talk radio. There is no other explanation for their weird behavior.

Experts are trying to figure out how to cope with this dangerous new disease? Some thing they can reason with them and cure them of their fears and paranoia. Many believe the President has come up with a new vaccination which will stop the hysteria from spreading to even more people. They are calling it healthcare reform with a public option. We are sure this will cure them once and for all.

There's something strange going on. I still think most of it points toward racism. People who grew up believing themselves superior because they were born white (ish) are having their brains stretched and snapped. Luckily, the majority of the population is immune.
Wish I had a link for RR.

6. It's IMO, a little dash of racism but more based on their "love of authority figures."

The right wingers vision of "a perfect world" is where A DADDY FIGURE is in charge and has absolute authority. That's also why you see glimmers of misogyny mixed into some of their behaviors.

They want an Unitary Executive who rules with unquestioned authority. They dream of being his "secret police" tasked to flush out all those EVIL LIBERALS, FEMI-NAZIS, ILLEGAL-WETBACKS, and UPPITY-NEGROS. :wow:

It's based on desire to fit in with "the popular kids." Watch some of the more cruel cliques within a Junior High School setting and you will get The Authoritarian Personality down to a tee.
