here's how sick this nation is:::Obama heckler raises more than $200,000
this shit-for-brains rep says 'democrats want to silence anyone who speaks out against it (HCR)'

(CNN) -- Less than a day after Rep. Joe Wilson formally apologized to President Obama over his "you lie" outburst, a campaign aide confirms that the South Carolina Republican has raised "more than $200,000" in the wake of the now-infamous moment.
News of that cash haul comes after Wilson directly asked in a Web video for campaign cash to fend off attacks from political opponents and said he's standing by his opposition to Democratic efforts at health care reform.

"On these issues, I will not be muzzled, I will speak up and speak loudly against this risky plan," Wilson said in a YouTube video released Thursday evening. "The supporters of the government takeover of health care and the liberals who want to give health care to illegals are using my opposition as an excuse to distract from the critical questions being raised about this poorly conceived plan."

The congressman disbursed the video via Twitter and asked his followers to "please watch and pass on."

" want to silence anyone who speaks out against it," Wilson also says in the video. "They made it clear they want to defeat me and pass the plan. I need your help now. ... Contribute to my effort to defeat the proponents of government-run health care."

1. No federal aid for his district if there is a natural disaster
I always like how these "small government" congressmen come running hat in hand to the White House for billions and billions when their districts are hit by tornadoes and floods.

3. Miller has raised over $776,000.
So good seems to be outweighing evil here.

Besides, who can afford to donate to Wilson when they're paying all of their money to be a part of Glenn Beck's 9/12 event? And books, and tea bags, and health care premiums...

It's expensive being a "patriot" these days.

12. Some of our fellow citizens are assholes
and there's no getting around that fact.

However, it's extremely gratifying to know the ratio is 3.5:1 in our favor.

It should be pretty easy to keep the assholes out of power.

20. Why don't we be honest about this and admit that if a Democrat had done this to Bush
most DUers would be high-fiving and encouraging others to send money to said Democrats re-election campaign.

It was a disrespectful comment, he has apologized for it and the President has accepted his apology. It's time to let this die down before he becomes a martyr for the rw nutjobs.
