On the "respectful" declining of five retired Generals....
...to consider taking the position of "War Czar."

This is the General's revenge, a big fuck you to Bush and Cheney who sold the country a cornucopia of bullshit to get us into this war. (The first rotten fruit, that draft-dodging and Vietnam dodging cowards have any business calling themselves the "party of National Security"). Dowd's op/ed piece this morning (subscription required) had a stunning quote from General (USMC - Ret) Jack Sheehan who simply and brusquely stated that, "the very fundamental issue is, they don’t know where the hell they’re going,” encapsulates the bumbling incompetence of these oafish clowns.

They, Bush, Cheney, et. al., have murdered the nation of Iraq and have attempted to murder our great country. It is incumbent upon Congress to remove this corrupt group of slimy fucks and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. This will prove to the world that America may go temporarily insane at times but will always return to the side of righteousness.

Let's roll.

4. Why Does No One Ever Mention That Loverboy Has An Undivorced Wife
hanging around in the background somewhere?

“Wolfowitz met anthropologist Clare Selgin Wolfowitz while they were both studying at Cornell University in the mid-60s. They married in 1968 and had three children. They separated in 2001.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Wolfowitz#Personal_life

“Influential members of staff at the international organisation have complained to its board that Paul Wolfowitz, a married father of three, is so besotted with Oxford-educated Shaha Riza he cannot be impartial.

Extraordinarily, they claim she played a key role in pushing the 61-year-old Pentagon official into the Iraq War. And the row comes amid claims that Wolfowitz's wife Clare once warned George Bush of the threat to national security any infidelity by her husband could cause.”

5.  Everybody likes watching a train wreck...
... nobody wants to be the engineer on that baby when it buys the farm.

6. The darling of neo-conservative fiction....
...is Ayn Rand, a hack whose writing, though it lacks any kind of coherence, is celebrated by its weight (literally, her tomes weight about 10 lbs). She wrote "Atlas Shrugged" which had a climatic moment where a train wreck did occur.

Your analogy is a dead on indictment of this crew.
