6. That's what I thought from the get go. I've become so wary of any harm done
Edited on Sat Apr-14-07 12:46 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
to Dems, that foul BFEE play has become my first thought.

According to the initial reports, this pick-up forced the white car over. How is that avoiding an accident?

7. Yes
the Governor of New Jersey was teh biggest enemy of this administration. They made sure he didn't wear his seatbelt and caused a traffic accident. :eyes:

9. Before next week is out, I predict some winger will try and blame this on the Clenis
"Corzine paid the consequences for living the life of permissiveness and 'no-rules' typical of the Clinton White House and their hypocritical limosine liberal ilk"

Or words to that effect. Maybe someone'll get clever and call him an SUV liberal, unwilling to live by the standards of his own nanny-state liberalism.

19. Governor Corzine didn't cause this "accident"
Edited on Sat Apr-14-07 01:23 PM by RestoreGore
And it is something how you villify him for not wearing the belt and not the jerk who was too intoxicated or stupid to know what the hell he was doing on the road. Are you saying that because he didn't have on the belt that he deserved what he got? And until the Governor is able to speak for himself I will reserve judgement on whether the news of him wearing that belt or not is truth. What I find amazing is that the driver has already been released from the hospital and the Governor still lies on a ventilator. Like I stated below sounds flaky, especially when his own Chief of Staff noted that the air bags did not deploy, so perhaps the Governor didn't have the belt on (which yes, was irresponsible)thinking that the air bags would save him in such a case. Who knows, but the fact that the person who caused this accident is not even being charged is suspicious at best to me.

I was mocking the people who accuse the Bushes of orchestrating it.

And he should've worn his seatbelt. That's just common sense.

24. True, but I also believe nothing I hear from the media.
Edited on Sat Apr-14-07 01:57 PM by RestoreGore
And the circumstances surrounding this are more suspicious the more I read of it. There are certain circles right in NJ who I believe would have reason to see Governor Corzine hurt. I don't discount ANYTHING at this point. For all we know the so called driver they claim has "special needs" isn't even the right one. Just part of the cover up. It wouldn't be the first time. It could very well be as it is being reported as well, however, I will reserve judgement on that for now.

25. seriously?
You think they hired some poor schmuck to drive his truck in just such a way that it would cause another car to swerve into the Governor's car, forcing it into a guardrail?

The timing would be impeccable. He'd have to know EXACTLY to the split second where the Governor's car would be. He would have to KNOW there was another car in JUST EXACTLY the right position to swerve into the Governor's car. They'd have to know the Governor wouldn't wear a seatbelt.

It's ridiculous. Car accidents happen every day. There's nothing suspicious about it.

And please, of ALL the people in the world they might want out of the picture, the Governor of New Jersey is the one they try to murder? It's stupid.

28. Fine, have your own opinion.
I am not the only one wondering why this person in the red truck was not even charged when it is then obvious according to reports and press conferences that he caused this "accident" by driving erratically. That isn't stupid, it is just thinking with an open mind instead of believing everything we hear without question. I find people who are sheeps who believe everything they are told without questioning to be the stupid ones. How do you even know it happened as they reported it? We haven't even heard from the others who were in that SUV. Why not? As I stated, it may just have happened as they say, however, I reserve the right to not discount other possibilities until I am convinced otherwise. When the Governor is able to talk on his own and hopefully remembers what happened, then perhaps I will be more convinced of that. Until that time, I will question what comes out of this media about anything.

29. Yes
I'm a sheep because the notion that the Bush family wanted the Governor of New Jersey dead, and orchestrated the most perfect driving incident in the history of mankind (well near-perfect: he lived) rather than just believe the most simple, obvious explanation - it was an accident.

No, they don't want to kill Joe Wilson or Nancy Pelosi or Patrick Fitzgerald or any reporters who are exposing them or anybody really important - it's the goddamn governor of New Jersey that keeps Bush up at night.

It's ludicrous.

27. What would Imus' motive have been? I really don't think
the BFEE had anything to do with this, but I have come to doubt everything since B* stole the pResidency in 2000, with the help of SCOTUS members who are supposed to remain politically impartial, and our Constitution has continued to erode every damn day.

Is it simply a strange coincidence, that on his way to a freakish meeting with one of B*'s and Dick of Death Cheney's biggest critics on the Iraq War (that being IMAss), Corzine is involved in a freakish accident? Every so-called coincidence that has occured with the BFEE enemies or critics is very likely not a coincidence!

Police Find Corzine Crash Pickup Driver -- But Plan No Charges
Police have questioned the driver of a red pickup truck involved in the accident that critically injured N.J. Gov. Jon Corzine, the AP reports. The Atlantic City casino worker reportedly was unaware he may have caused an accident.

How could he have been unaware that he caused an accident?

11. Apparently he wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree, and they didn't charge him
A state official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity said Saturday the driver of a truck involved in the wreck that injured Corzine had been found, questioned, and would not be charged.

The official, who wouldn't be named because the official is not authorized to speak on the matter, said the driver, 20, who worked at an Atlantic City casino, didn't realize he had caused the crash and thought he actually avoided an accident.

He was described as a "special needs driver" who may have a mental impairment, the official said.

The driver was not identified because he was not charged, state police said.
