If you were in a WAR, a real WAR would you feel winning was the most important thing |
|
No matter what tactics you had to use to do that? IMO the Republicans think they truly are at WAR and they don't hesitate to use the most vile tactics imaginable because the Ends justify the Means for them. Democrats just can't accept the idea that they are at War with a part of America, so are constantly amazed at how low the Right will go in their attempt at winning. It is only going to get worse IMO and I mean Deaths and Destruction and any and all forms of intimidation. Democrats are not even bringing a knife to this gun battle.. IMO.

2. I think you are right that Conservative extremists believe they are at war |
|
They use the language of war constantly; they believe this to be a holy struggle for the soul of America. They believe us to be sniveling vermin trying to ruin this country out of hatred for them (in fact they ascribe to us a number of their own characteristics in a process known as "projection").
The question though is how many conservatives or moderates would go along with this dark vision for America?

3. After I had gone through the indoctrination who knows. |
|
I don't know what they do to you at boot camp to make folks willing to kill others so I can't comment on how I would think after I came out. If I think the same way going in as coming out, I would only want to come out alive and with any luck do no harm to others.

5. Your first thought is for survival... |
|
Winning the war is a diplomatic decision that requires the leadership has set firm goals and conditions that must be met to end the conflict.

6. I would feel getting out with my ass intact was the most important thing |
|
And if any of those pussies that like to talk so much about war actually knew anything about it or had ever actually been in a war they would say the same thing.

8. yes when at war i play to win, sorry if that offends some of you |
|
i do think the democrats need to get on the ball and figure out the importance of loyalty, propaganda, fighting back, etc.
when you are fighting a rabies-infected dog, standing around and trying to reason nicely w. the dog is just plain bad strategy
fellow democrats, it ISN"T all about you and how good you look in the mirror to yourself, stop worrying about how you look and how shiny your soul will appear to st. peter when you get to heaven, LIVE IN THE WORLD WE'RE IN NOW, and use the tactics/strategy appropriate to the fight instead of the tactics/strategy that allow you to pat yourself on the back as the "bigger" person
your soul and your status as the bigger, better person is NOT as important as the fight for health care for all, or the fight to save this planet from ecological catastrophe
you can sit around being a beautiful loser after we've saved some lives and some ecosystems
priorities!!!
i'd rather go to hell having saved some lives than go to heaven because i never ruffled any feathers

13. Hmm, I might well rank survival up there somewhere near winning. |
|
But then the same issue arises for Rethugs -- if not winning, at least survival.
