Just a hypothesis on this Yale murder case |
|
Was Annie Le a teaching assistant (TA)? If so, a disgrunbtled student who got a bad grade could be a suspect.
Just a hypothesis.

1. The suspect is a lab tech |

who may have been suffering from a bad case of unrequited love (sorry I cant find the link but I read it somewhere this morning).

7. I hate to say this but I think it was a "If I can't have her, no one can have her" scenario. |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-14-09 06:48 PM by CTyankee
All too common. Very sad, but I think this is it. Someone was moonstruck by her and could not have her so he decided that no one could.
I have heard this before. It is not uncommon. Wow.

The focus is still on the lab technician and they're saying an arrest might happen as early as tomorrow. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32810822/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/

With 70 cameras around they know every person who entered and who was there between the time she entered and last person who left.
I expect them to have their man in less then a month.

34. It sounds like he murdered her in the mouse lab in the basement. |
|
Mouse labs are ridiculously secured due to fears of animal liberation groups (seriously). You would be hard-pressed to find a more secured place on the campus. Security knows exactly who is down there and when. Their total suspect list was probably less than a dozen people. And that white thing that Annie was carrying as she entered the building? That was a covered mouse cage. So she almost certainly went directly to the mouse lab.

She went missing from a highly secure research lab peppered with security cameras and doors that required a security badge to enter. And she was found behind a wall.

24. In an example of top notch police work, they announced |

earlier that it was a homicide, after we were told some of the details yesterday.
Holy cow, that's a surprise on me....I thought she killed herself, hid those bloody clothes in the ceiling tiles, then stuffed herself into the wall space.
:eyes:
Anyway, I agree with some of the others who think it might be a jilted former lover or maybe someone who's even been stalking her...
damn, there are some sick assholes out there :(

never heard of a student killing a teaching assistant over a grade.
For one thing, the professors usually have the last word on grades, not the T.A.'s...if you don't like the grade you see the professor.
