Until the U.S. holds criminals accountable, it's all superficial bullcrap |
|
Torturers, election riggers, WMD liars, conspiracy to commit war, fake terror alerts, rigging the Justice Dept., stealing billions in Iraq; it never ends and it never will end until the U.S. is a country of laws again.
I'm sure I'll be completely ignored as greed rules everyone's lives and propaganda still tells almost everyone what they will think.

2. At the end of the last world war, there were basically 4 types of indictments issued. |
|
1. Conspiracy to start an aggressive war 2. Conspiracy to wage aggressive war 3. War crimes 4. Crimes against humanity.
At the very least, people like Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney should be indicted on at least three of the four. The indictments issued against high ranking government officials and officers of the 3rd Reich were generally classified into those four.

3. Its not about whether they did it, its whether anyone will prosecute |

What amazes me is the fact that so many of these criminals are by their own admission completely guilty. Anyone who has read Vincent Bugliosi's book "The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder" knows that there is just so much evidence of obvious criminal wrongdoing. But it is never going to happen, because the illegal activity going on was being decided from way too high up in our government. If we were to put everyone who was involved on trial, you would have to subpoena half of Bush's administration.

why can't we subpoena half of bush's administration? That would be a great start.

I am not saying we shouldn't, just that the odds of that happening are slim to none. When the media bitches about bringing charges against the actual torturers, that tells me that they are not going to be so open to charging hundreds of officials.

administration would act with post-haste to reverse every thing reversible by ending wars of aggression, restoring the rule of law and the Constitution, bringing criminals to justice, and cleansing the Department of Justice of all vestiges of corruption and politicization. Silly me. :P
