Broke the news on air tonight. 4,000 word cover story on FBI translator turned whistleblower Sibel Edmonds in The American Conservative to hit stands and web tomorrow, by former CIA agent Phil Giraldi.

We'll pick this up tomorrow after I get a look at it. You East Coasters will likely beat me to it. But here's the teaser from TAC:

There’s a new issue of The American Conservative going to press today, and it includes a story that will make more than a few congressmen and foreign lobbyists intensely uncomfortable: an in-depth interview between Phil Giraldi and FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds. She tells us exactly how Turkish intelligence have penetrated national secrets, suborned government officials, and blackmailed Congress. It’s going to be explosive.

If there were one little error in what she's saying, they'd be swarming all over her. This is just a little window into a big box store packed to the rafters with foreign espionage, political payolla, and sexual blackmail that's been going on for years in this country by multiple intelligence agencies that really own the U.S. Government. Turkey is one of the smaller players, but look at the connections Sibel's materials show: official collusion with terrorism, foreknowledge of the 9/11 attack, the Plame outing, the destruction of the CIA's Counter-Proliferation Division, the bribery of the Speaker of the House, a network of GOP Congressmen who sold their offices. And, an FBI that just watches and records it all.

It's mind-boggling. It casts the legitimacy of the US political system into doubt - we, the little people, were never meant to know about this - if enough of us learned about it, we might demand that it change.

9. Hell, if enough people found out about it, there would be a revolution.

First, people would stop voting, stop participating in an institution that is viewed as illegitimate, sort of like the current government of Iran. Then, when the government still doesn't change, the long wick is lit, and you don't want to be around when that wick burns down to the keg itself.

I've followed your story for a couple of years now, thanks to Lukery (and a few others)....

Please keep yourself safe and continue to speak out... don't ever let these cockroaches intimidate you or get to you mentally. I think your story will shake the very foundations of our Democracy.. but maybe it will open the eyes of the blind sheeple, so that they may see the depth of corruption in politics, and we can rid ourselves of the Gangster Class that has taken over our Government.
