We have let the health care debate distract us from demanding
more action against the crimes against our laws and our constitution that have taken place since the year 2000. This is not to downplay the importance of real insurance reform but the acorn episode should remind us that we need to take down the lies and subsequent hatred of the far rightwing movement that has ruined our republic. It's time to get tougher. It's time for us to get in people's faces with the truth instead of ignorant racist rightwing buffoons getting in ours.

1. And the problem is compounded by the timing
When this health care crap is finally over it will be 'too close' to the mid-term election to bring up anything so controversial as the enforcement of existing law. And you know the very limited investigations that are going on now - they will report out just about the same time Congress is in full campaign mode and be duitifully ignored because of it. Bet on it.

3. I would gladly trade off one for the other, but it's not looking good for EITHER.
Of course, the smart play would be to press for both hard, and then give up one for the other...

Count me in with the others wishing Obama would start kicking some butt.

4. I'm not for trading anything. I'm for fighting hard on all fronts.
I'm for letting the American people in on the real issues of our time, not contrivances such as the crap surrounding acorn or other faux problems the right comes up with.
