ETA: Unless you're talking about the boutique insurance sold to those with too much $$ to rub shoulders with the common scum.

Tom Hartman talked about this once on his radio show. There was a documentary on PBS that said that; but they wouldn't air the documentary unless that line was removed. The producer of the documentary had them remove his name from it because, without that line - the one about the US being the only country to use for-profit health insurance companies, the whole documentary made no sense.
