Did anybody see Stephanie Miller on Reliable Sources?
Howie Kurtz tried to equate two of Stephanie's quotes about Coulter and Limbaugh to what Imus said.
She even asked Kurtz if he was trying to get her fired.
It wasn't until after the segment ended and Miller was off the air that Kurtz said that Miller had never made any racist remarks.
I quess Kurtz must think that Neil Boortz is not a big enough celebrity, nor was the Cynthia McKinney's "ghetto slut" hairdo a racial insult that bad, compared to Miller calling Limbaugh "a gas bag".

1. Be fair
It's "drug-addled gasbag." An affront to drug users everywhere.

9. Not to mention all those who are afflicted with lots of gas.
I am and she has not offended me!

Go Steph!

2. I don't think Stephanie Miller ever called Kurtz
"a boner-nosed, beanie-wearin', Jewboy", but I read somewhere where Imus did.

3. the Imus insults were bigoted
Edited on Sun Apr-15-07 12:20 PM by NI4NI
but I fail to see any bigotry in Miller's remarks that Kurtz quoted. I don't see any comparison.

6. Stephanie is a comedien, for heaven's sake
and does satire and comedy. There is no viciousness in what she does.

7. Exactly. I'm going to drop them a note.
I'm also going to tell them the only reason I watched their show was because she was on it.

8. stephanie miller
Is smart, funny and very attractive. MSNBC could do much worse than finding a spot for her show.

11. She used to have a show on MSNBC, or CNBC.
And it was pretty good. Problem was that they ran out of conservative co-hosts for Stephanie. Bay Buchanon was the first.

10. Steph and crew take on the high and mighty.
They make fund of our leaders and certain other leaders who act outrageously. There's plenty of material right there.

I have NEVER heard Steph attack vulnerable, powerless people. If anything, she talks to people who disagree with her. She even talked to a sicko who wanted to blow her and Cindy Sheehan away with an AK 47.

Kurtz has truly lost his mind.

14. Sock
I love the jingle one of the listeners wrote for that idiot.

"It's nice to have a friend
To help you get to heaven.
Especially if he has an
AK47.
He's a retired insurance man
With way too much time on his hands.
And, speaking of time,
Just look at the clock!

It's time for Sock."

15. I love that jingle! It was so well done.
Now I only get Steph from 10 to 12 and there's a lot of static. We lost our AAR, etc, channel, so I pick this up from a station in Bridgeport. It gets awful when I drive close to the Sound. Salt air I guess. But it's hard to listen to. I miss my clear transmission of her and hearing "Right Wing World" in her first hour.

12. If they all got fired it would be great. Start over maybe with real people.
Lord knows we have enough of them on the Left. The Truth should be heard. Corporate lifeforms get so boring after awhile. Whatever happened to real people?

13. I look forward to hearing Steph's show tomorrow
I just watched it, and clearly something was edited out. It went from Stephanie talking and cut immediately to the other guy (Roland) in what seemed like mid-sentence, as if he was answering a question or responding to something we didn't hear.

and then, Stephanie said this: "Well as I think I proved today Howard, radio people are not meant to be on television (Howard laughs), I think Roland makes a good point, you know you gotta clean yourself up for television..."

I wonder what happened!?! Steph will tell all, hopefully on her show tomorrow.
