Susan Atkins was a slime and I won't miss her. Sadly, her gravedancers aren't any better. |

1. She was a slime, but she did her time |
|
Did she pay her debt to society? Literally life in prison? Yes - that she did.
At this point I consider her rehabilitated.

3. BTW, had it not been for her BIG mouth - the LAPD would have never broke the case. |
|
They had no suspects until she opened her blathering pie hole.
Now. Back to pissing on her grave.

9. I think it was Atkins. She was in jail on unrelated charge and bragged away. |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-25-09 04:17 PM by devilgrrl
Not that wikipedia is accurate but here's what is says: While in jail, Atkins befriended two middle-aged career criminals, Virginia Graham and Veronica "Ronnie" Howard, to whom she confessed her participation in the Tate/LaBianca murders, for example telling the women that she stabbed Tate and that she had tasted Tate's blood. They subsequently reported her statements to the authorities.<14> This, combined with information from other sources, led to the arrest of Atkins and others involved in the Tate/LaBianca murders (Van Houten, Krenwinkel, Kasabian and Watson).

10. Not exactly, according to Vincent Bugliosi. At the end of one of his chapters |
|
in Helter Skelter he listed the suspects the police were looking into, and Charles Manson was on the list. This was before Atkins did the police a favor. Manson was being investigated for an auto theft ring and murder of his followers/associates.

13. Actually Wikipedia is a great jumping off point for basic research. |
|
I settle a lot of minor arguments about who-what-where-when with Wikipedia.

17. I think it was Atkins |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-25-09 05:42 PM by XanaDUer
she was the one who told another inmate something like, paraphrasing, Sharon Tate begged for mercy for herself and the baby, but "I told her Bitch, I have no mercy for you."
Again, paraphrasing. IN case anyone is interested, there is a very good movie on this case (the remake was not as good) on the Manson killings with Steve Railsback as Manson and an actress named Nancy Wolf as Susan.
"Helter Skelter", 1976.

15. Atkins blabbed but they used Linda Kasabian |
|
as key witness. She drove the car the first night and rode along w/manson the second. She wasn't involved in the actual violence. Dana ; )

18. There was an interesting Manson bio |
|
on one of the cable channels a couple of weeks ago where Linda Kasabian spoke of her role. I think she was quite brave to testify with so many family members still out and about.

5. Is little Bobby Jindal what you get when you mix Mad Magazine with Leave it to Beaver? |

Because that photo looks like the love child of Alfred E. Newman and Theodore Cleaver.

hurting. What she did was despicable. Disgusting. But I won't rejoice in anyone's death.

That's a lot of money that will now thankfully be off the budget books in CA.

20. I hope she died in horrible screaming agony. |
|
Just like her innocent victims.
She made her choices, and they were all poor ones. No sympathy for cold-blooded murderers from me.
I've lost family members to psychopaths like her. I'm glad they're dead, too.
