The ABSOLUTE Difference Between Democrats And Republicans |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-30-09 07:32 PM by WeDidIt
Democrats - Lose a close election primarily due to a questionable Supreme Court Decision. The candidate graciously concedes. Members of the party protest the legitimacy of the new president and protest odious policies implemented by that president. At the grassroots level, members of the Democratic party work to defeat members of the Republican party. They come close to defeating the Republican president the next election and the following election they take back the Congress. Finally through hard work they defeat the Republican nominee to replace the Republican president while extending the majority in both houses of Congress.
Republicans - Lose a presidential election by near landslide margins and immediately advocate violent overthrow of the government.
Yep, there's a STARK DIFFERENCE between these two parties if you ask me.

5. Man, we could keep going and going -- they (and I mean the jerks) have absolutely |
|
no redeeming qualities. I honestly feel for those who are more moderate, although they don't seem to mind being corralled into voting straight along party lines...

If they could kill us and get away with it, they would. The only reason they don't is because it wouldn't be an effective means to achieve what they want.
The democrats may not get a lot of good bills through congress, but at least the hair-pullingly bad ones that shit all over the constitution slow to a trickle.

6. Oh yeah, and they also speak at "Values Voter" type conventions |
|
where they want to make America into a Christian theocracy and reverse the Founding Fathers' hard work.

7. Democrats (for the most part) seek power to affect policy |
|
For the GOP the power is the end itself.

8. Democrats love - ideas, progress, diversity, learning. Republicans HATE. |
|
Anyone different, fairness, diversity....etc
but mostly, I think, they hate themselves - and it is this self loathing that requires them to take it all down with them.
