Colbert just had a great idea.... Send our medical bills to the five democrats |
|
that voted against the Public Option.
Send copies of unpaid bills off to their office.
What a great way to make a point.

Colbert and Stewart have been on a fucking roll for a while now. I don't know how they manage to get better, but they do.

I say, not only send them to those Dems, but also to all Republicans in Congress and all of the BS media outlets that are so opposed against healthcare reform. I also believe that we should cut off all Medicare and Medicaid recipients who oppose healthcare reform. You know, I dont' mind paying taxes or helping other people out, but why in the hell should I be paying taxes to help out people, ie SSI, SSD, etc., who don't want to help out others. God bless.

9. What would be an even better idea is to send those |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-30-09 10:48 PM by liberalhistorian
idjit senators who are against the public option but who feed at the public trough when it comes to their own health care, (paid for by WE THE PEOPLE, many of whom don't even have our own health insurance), and who seem to have no idea that the insurance companies are a HUGE part of the problem, those lovely letters from the profit-before-people bean counters denying needed care, and those ever-so-enlightening and compassionate Explanation of Benefits letters, better known as the fuck-off-and-die-if-you-think-we're-paying-anything-for-this-despite-your-paying-us-through-the-nose-in-premiums letters. And then send them all of the collection letters from the medical collectrolls pimping for the hospitals and doctors, and the evidence of financial ruin simply because you've become ill.
And then ask them why WE should pay for THEIR health care plans when we may not have health care ourselves, and why they consider the profits of their sugar daddies, the insurance executives and their lobbyists, to be more important and worthy than our own lives.
And then ask them why THEIR health care shouldn't be considered "socialized" medicine?

16. If even one person dies |
|
through this healthcare debate dies, I think that these Reps and Dems that voted against it, or held up the process should be charged with homicide.
