Get ready - here is the new target of attack by the RW smear machine...
Kevin Jennings, Dept of Education official.

They want him fired.
Hannity and Malkin are leading the charge.

Sean Hannity: "As The Washington Times said, 'At the very least, statutory rape occurred,' and he didn't report it." On the September 30 edition of Fox News' Hannity, host Sean Hannity said: "We have the safe schools czar, a guy by the name of Kevin Jennings, OK? And he writes this book, and he gives information to a 15-year-old -- ABC News and Jake Tapper write about this tonight -- a 15-year-old sophomore, and his advice to him when he's having a gay relationship is, you know, 'Did you use a condom?' He knew it was an older adult. Now, as The Washington Times said, 'At the very least, statutory rape occurred,' and he didn't report it. Now he's saying that he made a mistake, only because it's been reported on. My question is, where's the vetting process? Why was he even put in this position?" Hannity went on to call for Jennings to be "fired."

The thing is "Jennings' attorney stated in letter that student was 16, which is, and was, MA age of consent"

Here we go again.
Dammit- I hope that Jennings doesn't feel he too has to leave the administration...if this story gets legs.

1. Kevin ought to ask Alan Grayson to speak for him. Something like, yeah I said it, so what?

4. I would love to think they would, but I doubt it.
They will allow the rightwing noise machine to define him, as they have started to do already, and he will be marginalized within his own party.

Carville on CNN tonight just couldn't bring himself to cheer him on. That show was a clear picture of how scared they all are of a Democrat who dares to tell the truth about Republican thugs. We are a long way from having someone like Grayson be supported by the spineless Dems. And it won't be long before we start him be critized on leftie blogs either.

I hope I'm wrong though, it would be so great to be wrong about this ~

5. Forgot, K&R for the information on another target
in Obama's administration. When will they begin to fight back? Make Grayson his Press Sec. he would have no problem telling everyone why these people are being targeted.
