A Wichita man and woman today received life prison sentences for their roles in a case involving sex with a five year-old girl.

A judge sentenced Reggie Stafford to life in prison. He will be eligble for parole in 75 years. The girl's mother was sentenced to life and will be eligible for parole in 25 years. KAKE is not using her name to protect the child.

During the trial, prosecutors showed how Stafford would pay the woman 6 to 7 dollars in exchange for having sex with her daughter, who was five-years-old at the time.

Prosecutors said the woman would use the money to buy alcohol and cigarettes.
