When I talked to a staffer today from Congressman Alan Graysons office this morning I told her to make sure she visited Democratic Underground because her boss there was a legend at our little corner of the world.

I was pleasantly surprised when she told me -and have I mentioned she's got a million dollar voice?- that I was not the first person on the phone today to sing the praises of Democratic Underground.

Whether you know it or not, many of the representatives in Congress had staffers monitor comments made about them at this forum.

It was a lot more than moral support that got Larry Craig out of office.

Hello everyone,

I've been a lurker here for years, but don't post much. Yesterday, I donated to a politician for only the 2nd time in my life.
I can't afford much, but I gave Rep Grayson $15. If we all gave just a little, we'll make sure he stays there fighting for us.

I also put a note on the donate button about Democratic Underground. It would be nice to have him in here every now and then for some conversation.

I only wish I had the courage to shout "You Lie" at all the Republicans who surround me down here in southern Louisiana. Rep Grayson definitely has the courage we need more of all over the country.
