We need to correct people that we have a LIBERTARIAN media, not liberal

The wingnuts like to cite TV's laissez faire attitude towards sex, drugs, and violence as proof that the media is not on their side.

They're right, to an extent. Media is laissez faire about morals. That's their libertarian side. It's the corporate slant that they care about. To the media, excessively degrading pornography or violence wouldn't be nearly as offensive as showing images of people living in self-sustaining communities, or anything like Adbusters.

We need to emphasize this--saying the media is conservative doesn't wash with those who can point to media's attitude towards sex and drugs as proof that it is a liberal entity.
