Did Schwarzenegger video help Rio land the Olympics? (VIDEO)

The city of Chicago may be wallowing in a communal funk over not landing the 2016 Olympics. Indeed, not even a personal pitch from President Obama helped.

We're wondering if the International Olympic Committee czars chose Rio because they were wowed by a long-ago visit from another charismatic American, California's very own Guv Schwarzenegger.

Who remembers Arnold's 1983 video called "Carnival in Rio"? Oh, we do.

It is an, ahem, travelogue of sorts with a much younger Arnold cavorting through Rio with scantily-clad samba dancers and saying dopey stuff like "After watching mulattas shake it, I can totally understand why Brazil is devoted to my favorite body part -- the ass."

Chicago has....the Loop? It wouldn't surprise me if the Olympic Committee didn't seriously consider making Rio the permanent host. But then there would be no need of the Olympic Committee or of sucking up to them.
