1. They would chear even more loudly and would probably immediately begin impeachment
and the media, of course, would go right along with it.

There wouldn't be any "must support the president in this trying time as he tried to keep us safe after an attack" like there was with Shrubbie.

It would be "How dare he allow us to be attacked! Get rid of him!!!!!!!"

I remember the rightwing attacking Clinton all the time when he was president, but I don't remember anyone - not even Limbaugh - hoping that he would fail in the way that the rightwing now isn't just anti-Obama on principle, but anti- in the sense that they actually want him to fail, even if it hurts the country.

4. Pukies Are Rejoicing
.... because the far right idiots believe this is a loss for Obama and the Democrats.

Little do these nutbags know that the multi-billion dollar Olmypics will pump much corporate money into Brazil whose leader is a socialist.

5. The right would dance in the streets.
They've already been encouraging another major terrorist attack. Heney, for example, has said repeatedly that granting hebeas corpus and not torturing are gravely endangering our country. If/when there's another terrorist attack, it will be completely Obama's fault.
The right will shout this from the rooftops, and our country will be further divided, plunging us deeper into economic, political, and ideological chaos.

Cheney has put the terrorists on alert : "Attack America now and we will help you turn our nation against Obama, setting the stage for a return to divisive, corrosive Republican rule and the complete destruction of America's way of life. So please (don't) attack. Right now."
