MT living...PRO: no "real" traffic; CON: waiting for Michael Moore films on DVD

"Maybe next week" is the common reaction to the "now playing" section at our local Carmike cinemas when looking for documentary, small independent, or foreign films.

I'm enjoying the reviews though!

1. Cinemark is here in Medford OR and they are not playing it. Ashland 20 minutes down the hwy is and

we will travel to see it. I called corporate for Cinemark and they have not returned my call. The manager at the theater here said many many have called wanting to see it now and they told corporate. We'll see I guess.

2. Last week I called every theater within a 30 mile radius. None were showing it.

They must have gotten a lot of calls. Of the 6 theaters I called, 2 are showing it now and a third (low budget) will be showing it 6 weeks from now.

Keep pressuring them!

Just returned from Glacier... my first time in Montana... blew me away. Absolutely gorgeous state.

8. Do they ever show such films on either of the campuses there?

Probably not, but worth a shot ... I know what you mean, though, having grown up in Northern Wyoming--I don't recall a documentary or a foreign film ever showing at the local theater.
