Deeds (D-Dull) is losing to McDonnell (R-Religiofascist) in all polls. Some have it as bad as 51/42.

5. This Virginian blames that asshole McAuliffe for ruining our primary. You don't start your state
political career here by running for Governor FIRST, much less after the dirty campaign he ran which in my opinion ruined HRC's candidacy. Don't get me wrong - I was an Obama supporter pretty early on, but McAuliffe makes my skin crawl so I lost respect for Secy Clinton when she allowed his shit to go forward.

The minute McAuliffe entered the race and the national/international money started pouring in, I thought we were doomed. It really pissed me off after we've finally had a very good governor (Warner) and at least a decent one (Kaine), especially after the George Allen disasters.

As a Democrat, I have some issues with Deeds. Not as many as with the asshole McDonnell, but I fear he's a DINO. I doubt I'm alone. I know I haven't volunteered for this election, just can't get my heart into it. I haven't donated to Deeds campaign either. I just don't think this country bumpkin can beat McDonnell. McDonnell's just too slick and has tons of RNC money pouring in to help his cause. I know the DNC is also donating to Deeds, but I live in the mountains outside of the Fairfax area and have yet to see numerous Deeds ads. This is a red part of the state that up until the real estate market bust was showing signs of turning purple at least with the folks moving out here from NVA.

I don't know that much about Moran but do know he would have won the NVA vote in the upcoming election. Whoever wins NVA, wins. Period.

6. They were discussing this on WTOP today.
Mark Plotkin says he needs to win VERY big in NoVa to win statewide .... like 70-30 in NoVa. That's a tall order.
