Freep birthers believe Michelle Bachmann was sending them a secret message!
Although she dismissed the birther movement as a media creation, the birthers believe she intended the double negative sentence-- "I have no reason to doubt that he wasn't born in the United States" and that she is actually stating that she does doubt that Obama was born in the US.
To add to the insane fun, they are so excited, they want her to run for President!
They are fucking nuts!

Notice her use of the double negative: “I have no reason to doubt that he wasn’t born in the United States.” Stated without the double negative, it would read: “I have reason to doubt that he was born in the United States.” . . . . . as do I. 30 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:08:55 PM by Jim Hill

Notice her use of the double negative: “I have no reason to doubt that he wasn’t born in the United States.” You are right! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out - Bachmann's a clever winch! She is saying that she has "no reason to doubt that he WASN'T born in the US. LOL - that's great! 55 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:38:39 PM by alicewonders
If this all takes off and some credibility to our movement comes forth, then the light will expose who the real patriots are! I'm convinced that Michelle Bachmann will not disappoint us... 83 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 3:15:11 PM by thecraw
Bachman vs. Palin I might actually lean towards Bachman. While I have no quams with Palin’s conservative bona fides. I wonder how effective should can be in 2012 with the constant attacks. Bachman is much more stealth, perceptively more “intelligent,” less media baggage and just as hard-nosed. If the GOP wants to go with a woman in 2012, I’d probably push for Bachman over Palin. 19 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:02:46 PM by wilco200
Barbour/Bachmann - 2012, you heard it here first. (maybe DeMint / Bachmann) 5 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:06:12 PM by OldDeckHand

I think she’s the more savvy thinking on her feet individual. 52 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:34:01 PM by DoughtyOne
I’d love to see a ticket with BOTH Palin & Bachmann on it - that would be a ticket with more cojones than the rest of the GOP put together. 59 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:40:59 PM by alicewonders
I find Michelle by far the hotter of the two but she is less known. 49 posted on Wednesday, October 07, 2009 1:31:44 PM by sickoflibs
