Birthgasm over Bachmann's double negative: "I have no reason to doubt that he wasn't born in the US"
Freep birthers believe Michelle Bachmann was sending them a secret message!

Although she dismissed the birther movement as a media creation, the birthers believe she intended the double negative sentence-- "I have no reason to doubt that he wasn't born in the United States" and that she is actually stating that she does doubt that Obama was born in the US.

To add to the insane fun, they are so excited, they want her to run for President!

They are fucking nuts!

(from freepville)

Notice her use of the double negative: “I have no reason to doubt that he wasn’t born in the United States.”
Stated without the double negative, it would read: “I have reason to doubt that he was born in the United States.”
. . . . . as do I.

BACHMANN: I have no reason to doubt THAT HE WASN'T BORN IN the United States. I have none.
Bwa hah hah... she's one of us!

You are right! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out - Bachmann's a clever winch! She is saying that she has "no reason to doubt that he WASN'T born in the US.
LOL - that's great!

If this all takes off and some credibility to our movement comes forth, then the light will expose who the real patriots are! I'm convinced that Michelle Bachmann will not disappoint us...

Bachman vs. Palin
I might actually lean towards Bachman. While I have no quams with Palin’s conservative bona fides. I wonder how effective should can be in 2012 with the constant attacks. Bachman is much more stealth, perceptively more “intelligent,” less media baggage and just as hard-nosed. If the GOP wants to go with a woman in 2012, I’d probably push for Bachman over Palin.

Barbour/Bachmann - 2012, you heard it here first. (maybe DeMint / Bachmann)

I think she’s the more savvy thinking on her feet individual.

I’d love to see a ticket with BOTH Palin & Bachmann on it - that would be a ticket with more cojones than the rest of the GOP put together.

I find Michelle by far the hotter of the two but she is less known.

5. Actually, they correctly noticed her use of a TRIPLE negative.
The word "doubt" adds the third negative, and so their reading of her statement is correct.

10. Wow so the fact that she can't speak proper English
means she is sending secret messages? Funny I thought it was because she was a moron. Shows you what I know.

11. Bachmann is "perceptively more intelligent" than Palin? LOL!
Edited on Thu Oct-08-09 12:02 AM by Triana
One is as dumb as a bag of rocks. The other as dopey as a pile of hammers. And the nincompoops who somehow believe either of them has one whit of intelligence are (obviously) a bunch of vacuum-packed idiots. Honey, I mean there isn't even any AIR in there.

The knuckle-draggers like their 'wimmin' REALLY dumb, apparently.
