Apparently there's a lurking homo-monster in North Carolina's new anti-bullying law that covers, among other things, sexual orientation and gender identity and expression. One school board member in Guilford County (Greensboro, NC) knows the REAL reason the state passed the School Violence Prevention Act -- the deviant hidden hand of the Homosexualists.
The Guilford County Board of Education's Governance Review Committee is looking over the school system's bullying policy to make sure it complies with the legislature's July mandate that school systems create policies prohibiting bullying, including bullying based on a list of differentiating characteristics that includes sexual orientation and gender identity.
School board member Paul Daniels, a member of the committee, said he considers the state law an effort to set a precedent in favor of gay rights, specifically marriage rights.
"The elephant in the room is that this policy is about adults, not children," he said. "This is a policy in search of a purpose, and it's all about adults. The bottom line is that this is incrementalism by the homosexual lobby. This is all motivated by folks who see man-woman as being discriminatory."
