Are there term limits for panelists on Sunday a.m. shows? |
|
I copied and pasted my own post at HuffPo and ask DU, are there term limits on panelists? How does this work, are they selected for life? Sunday mornings would be so much more interesting with, let's say monthly changes to panelists and guests for that matter. An entire month without McCain would be a start...
My post:
Are the "panels" on these Sunday morning shows like the Supreme Court? I mean, are they there for life or what? I would honestly love term limits on these people, and then let's bring an entirely new batch of people panelers (?) to discuss more nonsense. For instance, people from all walks of life. Doctors, nurses, some small newspaper editors from small-town America. Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Michael Moore and of course my fav, Louis Black. I'd help put the Vatican up for sale as Sarah suggests for one Sunday with my last four suggestions....sigh. I want to see George Will receive NO RESPECT from any of these people and watch him fold. Chris Wallace totally ignored and Tweety made to cry.
Yes, I want this. Term limits for panelists, that's the ticket!

1. No, but I'm sure there are contractual agreements...or quid pro quo. |

Each media outlet has their favorites, such as MSNBC's Pat Buchanan.

limited amount of time. I'm surprised, if they're looking at their numbers of viewers, they wouldn't come to a similar conclusion..

3. YES - Especially George Will. He needs to be "turned over"... he's done on the wrong side. |
