Robert Wexler to resign from Congress

I am just a stones throw north of his district, FL-16, and I have always been envious of his constituents. He has been with us through the toughest times and I always just counted on him being there.

The story of how we almost met was after Obama's Sunrise rally and I was leaving. I was a rally volunteer so I got to exit close to the VIP parking. Wexler had made a break for his vehicle, but as I approached, I saw the Congressman had been "ambushed" for a picture by a family and I knew he was trying to just get out of there. I had the intent of letting him do that so I was going to just walk by. When I got within 5 ft he turned suddenly like I had said something and I put my hands up like it wasn't me and walked away. It wasn't until later that I figured out that he was handing me the camera so I could take the picture. I have felt guilty over leaving him in a clutch ... sry man. I hope that didn't come into this decision ;-)
