1. Congress is not voted for en masse.

I really don't believe that the GOP stands much of a chance.

What do they have except fear, hate and the label "NO?"

2. Democrat only polling is quite a bit better.
Not great, but certainly better than the Repubs.

The Republicans are bringing down the class GPA.

3. well I read somewhere that after Obama got elected their approval went up but
now its back down , the honeymoon is over, and its in the same low digits that they had when the GOP was the majority..only Dems are majority now.

5. Is your point that Americans are fickle,
poll questions can lead to whatever opinion the pollsters want or that the GOP has a snowballs chance in hell of regaining control: after fucking this country for the past 12 years?

6. "Generic polls" (Dems versus Repubs) show both sides about equal
Hard to say what will happen. Though then again with Generic Polls one side could be winning 2/3s of the races close and the other side could be dominating the other 1/3 and it would show it about equal. So that makes it even harder to say whats going on.

7. The GOP is out of gas. They have no ideas or proposals. All they have is

"NO" which they use at every turn.

"NO" isn't much of a comeback slogan, now is it?

8. Baucus took much too long to bring in a bill and the bill is lousy.
Baucus made the whole democratic congress look incompetent -- because he is incompetent. Reid should replace Baucus. He did a terrible job.

9. The Congresscritters don't give a fuck about their approval ratings. As long as they
can get their campaign financing from Wall Street, Big Pharma, and the Insurance Cabal there are no challengers who can unseat them. That's a fact.

90+% of incumbents are re-elected.
