Snowe voted yes on the Baucus Bill to keep her & Repubs Visible .... |

If she voted no along with the rest of the Repubs, they would be marginalized and easily characterized in an accurate and truthful manner as being obstructionists and anti-reform.
I see nothing noble in her vote, especially as she warned it was her vote today... maybe not tomorrow.
When she speaks out affirmatively in favor of healthcare reform AND votes for the legislation to accomplish that end, I'll give her credit.

But, I think it has little to with the repubbies trying to stay relevant. They will start immediately sidelining her, tearing her down and pushing her away from them.
I think the result will be a further marginalized repubs party, and a more independent(yet still unreliable) Snowe.
