7. Lol what a facade the GOP has put up......
First they got Steele so they can say "we're not racist, we have a black guy in our party too, see?" and now this. It's an illusion and nothing more, just something to better their image. In truth the GOP is nothing but a party of greedy rich white old fascist corporate sellouts.

Looks like they're angling that way, so I'll keep my options open.

9. the forum response by Sarah Palin is a classic..lol!

Hello all my fellow Republicans

I think it is important for the GOP to embrace global warming as a very real and viable threat to our way of life.
As the planet temperatures continue to rise it is my view that we take real action to combat the causes rather than bickering over weather it is real or not.
Consider some of the potential risks to Alaska alone. If all the snow and permafrost disappears completely our way of life would suffer enormously. Todd would have learn a new sport for me to talk about, such as skateboarding, since snow mobile racing would be limited to an indoor sport, and I would have to buy infrared sights for my rifles as the moose wouldn't stand out as much as they do in a snowy back drop.

But i digress.

In 2012 the republican party should run on a policy that has served us so well over the past years, by embracing our core ways of thinking and applying them to this troubling issue.

1. Ask God to fix it.
God has always looked after the Republicans and i believe if we all ask him nicely he will be nice enough to fix it for us. By us of course i mean Republicans, any democratic states will have to put up with global warming still until they see the error of their ways.
I find it always helps to embrace Gods love of Republicans, when preying, to think of God in a Glen Beck T-Shirt and Jesus sporting a semi automatic and a tea baggers hat, but thats just me.

2. Eliminate the threat.
As you will have seen on the news, America has just bombed the moon. NASA will tell you this is to try and establish whether there is any water on the moon. I can tell you now this is not the truth. This was the first attempt to try to combat rising sea levels by blowing up the moon and thus removing its affect on tidal waters... sounds simple when you put it that way. As out great scientists have proved we now have the ability to bomb on an interplanetary scale. Therefore I will be pushing for legislation that will divert tax payers money to develop the "Global Warming Bomb". As recent history has shown us threats to the American way of life as best solved with large bombs, and I believe global warming is no exception.

3. Wholesale reduction in carbon emissions
I have discovered that the average human exhales 913Lbs of CO2 a year. There are also about 20 million illegal aliens in the USA at present. Therefore if we eject all these people from the USA we will cut our carbon emissions by 9 million tons per year.

I think these small measures will pave the way for a brighter future for the GOP.

I love you all

Your Sarah.

xx

19. Here are some gop posts regarding the AA angle on the website.
Why would we want those people in our party. We would just end up supporting them here as well.

...

The Republican Party needs to be honest about Abe Lincoln and stop pretending that he was worthy of respect. Lincoln was a white supremacist who once proposed sending blacks off to their own colony. For more information on Lincoln and racism, read the free chapter (chapter 6) posted online from Judge Andrew Napolitano's newest book, Dred Scott's Revenge. http://www.judgenap.com/dsr6.pdf

Most southerners did not own slaves. The Civil War was primarily about state sovereignty, not slavery. Lincoln was a statist tyrant and most definitely was the worst president in U.S. history. You can see a list of some of Lincoln's abuses at http://www.lewrockwell.com/dilorenzo/dilorenzo56.html

...

I do not think it is necessary to "reach out to minority groups," as this is a collectivist notion in itself. We should be reaching out to all people, all individuals, not collective groups. After all, collectivism is at the heart of division between racial groups. It could come across as pandering or make someone feel uncomfortable, for example.

--------------

So if you are African American ...

WELCOME TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!
