1. If they would each "adopt" a person or family undergoing....

hardship and trauma due to our "healthcare" system -- and tell that story every time they give a speech or are interviewed, make it personal as if it were a family member -- it would go a long way toward the empathy factor. Statistics are useless in many cases.

Each member of Congress should give this a face.

2. without that personal touch, Blue dogs are out of touch.
Too bad for Jane.

That reminds me of the conservative GOPer who years ago spearheaded the tort reform movement in Indiana. He got his version of med mal limitations passed, with a total cap on everything of $250,000.

Then his wife was taken ill, and totally fucked over by her MDs. The damage caused by their malpractice resulted in more care, far in excess of the cap, and upon her death, if I recall the events properly, he was basically crying over the very legislation that he had created. Pain, suffering death, and to add insult to injury, his own legislation bit him in the ass.

3. Do you remember the name? Seems this 'reminder' could be sent to the remaining Blue Dogs?

5. All I recall was his TV ad across the border in Illinois, when
we were facing similar legislation. I'll search my memory banks and see what dusty mote I can dig up.
