death-by-spreadsheet parasites known as the insurance companies, who make their profits off of denying needed care and dropping sick people; they don't just have blood on their hands, they have blood pouring from their hands. And "people with morals?" Would those be the same people who don't give a damn if their fellow citizens don't have needed health care as long as THEY have THEIR care? Would that be people who don't care if their fellow citizens are financially ruined simply due to an illness?

Hubby and I don't have health insurance right now because, as hard as he works, his job doesn't offer it and we can't afford individual policies of several hundred a month, with five grand or more deductibles, and that hardly covers anything at all given that we're both over forty, never mind that we're in good health with no major problems or illnesses. If one of us gets sick or injured now, we're absolutely fucking screwed. And you consider THAT to be moral just because YOU have YOUR health care? Up yours.
