3 Monty Python guys on Countdown with Keith Olbermann TONIGHT!!
Two bits of good news:

First, Keith is going to be there tonight!

Second, Monty Python's John Cleese, Terry Jones, and Terry Gilliam are guesting on the show!

This, according to MSNBC's Alana Russo

21. I've read that he is a genuinely nice person
I have a (small) collection of books on the history of British humor in the 60s and 70s, and while most of the comedians from that period (or any period, I'm sure) are more complicated and less cheery than they would seem from their public personalities, many of the people interviewed in those books say that Michael Palin is a really pleasant, easy-going, happy person. Which I was glad to see, since I've had a crush on him for years too. :)

14. Not the Comfy Chair!
The fact that Cleese and the gang give respect to Keith speaks volumes. When John was on previously he made it very clear what he thought of Keith.

8. What's amazing is that, as bizarre as they will likely get,
they'd be far closer to the truth than most of Beck's drooling stooges ...

15. Having heroes Cleese, Jones, Gilliam, Idle and Palin make me a little bit sadder for those whose
heroes are Beck, O'Reilly and Limbaugh.

12. Even better
IFC (Independent Film Channel) will do a mini-marathon of Monty Python - "The Lawyer's Cut" (I get it).

Oct 18-23 @ 9 Eastern.

http://www.ifc.com/ - wait for it to cycle in the upper left.

13. There are so many classic Monty Python bits that it is hard to know where to begin.
Where ever I was on Sunday nights, I would be sure to be back home in time to watch Monty Python....way back then...

16. Terry Jones wrote a scathingly funny commentary about chimpy's rationale for invading Iraq
This was back in January 2003, before the invasion. Well worth the read, IMO. Here's the link:
