I read so much contradictory info here |
|
sometimes it makes my head spin.
I read one moment that our Dem leaders are huddled together trying to come up with a winning strategy to get the PO through. Then I read that they are selling us out.
I understand people's cynicism. Cynicism towards our elected officials should be considered just good old plain horse sense.
At the same time, good old plain horse sense tells me that there are a lot of dark forces aligned against us on this, and that they will do anything to win, and one of the most effective ways to do that is to spread a lot of disinfo to discourage activists.
with this in mind, while I will not blithely assume that everything will be OK (oh, fuck no! we're mid stream here, no time for slacking off)......
....I refuse to let my fighting spirit be broken by rumors of betrayal from "anonymous sources."

1. Always default to the "selling us out" setting. |
|
ALWAYS question everything. TRUST, but verify! (The only thing that dick-head said that was remotely correct)

You're right. I always try to look at who is saying what, what their interest is, what their benefit or loss will be, and then make up my mind based on as complete a picture as I can find. It is the only way to survive. If we believed everything that we heard we would be road kill.

4. Thanks, 27. I feel the same way. |

I sign on to every petition I see, would be happy to march on Washington if asked. And in the meantime, I pray. (In the non-denominational, liberal sense.) Nerve wracking, isn't it.

... it's opinions. I think it's a good thing to read a variety of opinions.

6. The term should not be info as that implies some measure of accuracy or truth |
