Anything on the autopsy findings of Nick Skala?
Nick Skala was the 27-year old Northwest University Law Student who passed away in his sleep on August 3 (original thread here). Nick was an intern for Global Trade Watch and a strong advocate for single-payer.

Is it too tinfoily to suggest something is up here? I haven't even read anything that says autopsy results are inconclusive. Just -- nothing.

8. I realize that people die in their sleep.
Enough people were familiar with Nick's work that his death was reported on many websites. But I would think by now that a cause and manner of death would have been established.

10. This is one of most ridiculous tinfoil hat moments I've ever seen on DU...
...And that's saying it's right up there with the people who think the Twin Towers were brought down by nuclear bombs.

25. I could have mentioned the ones who think it was an outer space ray-gun.
But the mini-nuke believers are simply too precious and too massive in their total scientific illiteracy not to have a special place in my heart.

24. Bing!
A classic technique of conspiracy theories is to ask a question that's either leading or based on a completely false premise ("Why won't Obama show us his birth certificate?"), and insinuate an ulterior motive ("What do they have to hide?"), without actually saying anything concrete. The uncritical reader/listener is lead to a conclusion, thinking that they came to it by evidence and open debate.
