What the h*ll is the matter with Jake Tapper?
http://mediamatters.org/blog/200910210003">Defending his "sister organization" Fox News...

Understand what Tapper's saying here - he sees nothing wrong with the way Fox has pimped the tea parties on the news side. That's OK; that's the ABC News standard as well, not merely covering dissent but promoting it. Good to know, I guess.

1. Think of them as piglets sucking from the same sow.
Fox's teat is just closer to the anus than the rest of 'em.

2. It's like the blue flu. They see it as an attack....................
on themselves so they circle the wagons.
You would think that they would stand up for their own standards. If they had any.

7. This is the guy that was horribly offended that Obama DARE talk about Dick Cheney and demanded Gibbs
run over to Oslo and tell them they had better give Reagan a Nobel Peace Prize. He's the biggest asshole in the Press Room (aside from Fox News).

9. This is actually good. The more that the lack of objectivity
or fairness at Fox is being discussed, the more it is questioned in the minds of people.

I'm wondering how many American women who have been patiently waiting for their Fox-addicted husbands (or husbands their Fox-addicted wives) to finally change the channel and watch real news are silently applauding Obama's statement.

There are a lot of people in a lot of households and businesses around the country who detest Fox News but are forced to watch it by some domineering individual in their environment. Once the initial defensive reaction simmers down about the Fox News controvery, the statements of the Obama administration may cause a few Fox-TVs to be at least turned down.

You have no idea how many Americans suffer from Fox-hateful-and-loud-and-all-the-time syndrome. It's an epidemic in some households.

If you think Democrats in Congress aren't assertive enough, remember that for every one of them there are thousands and thousands of unassertive Democrats working in stores and shops, living in homes and even schools who are too timid to change the channel from Fox Propaganda to some other station that broadcasts real news.

President Obama is starting with first things first -- liberating America's TVs. Hopefully he will decide to free the Commerce Department and the Fed of their bosses from Wall Street next.

10. 1. Jake Tapper is an established douchebag.
Nothing new to see here.

2. Fox News did not only promote those political rallies, they produced them.

That should be clear to Tapper, though I'm not surprised he's missing it. His colleague George S. was pimping Joe Wilson t-shirts on his twitter account, after all.

"Journalists" don't seem to know much about journalism these days.
