11. They keep discounting it and
it will be cheaper than the lump of coal.... think about it... a book made for burning, gods only know it's not good for anything else other than a heating assistance program.

7. 69% off! What an incredible bargain!
Edited on Wed Oct-21-09 04:32 PM by Boojatta
Wait, there are some old, crumpled pages from a newspaper stuck in some bushes at the park and they're free. Free, I tell you! Of course, I'll have to give up my dreams of 69%, but how can mere number-sex compare with freedom?

I'm starting to get hungry for some fries. Freedom fries! Where can I find a potatoe around here? Wait, a famous Republican taught me that it's spelled without a final letter "e." You see, I'm bipartisan. Credit where due. Now, where can I find a potato ... brother, can you spare a potato?

at an office party. Nobody wants the damn thing they just pass it on to someone else.

13. As funny as that appears, it's not unique to her book by a longshot.
In fact, it's probably helped boost her sales quite a bit.

14. There are other books coming out
which will be much more fun to read...

Going Rogue versus Going Rouge http://www.themudflats.net/2009/10/21/going-rogue-vs-going-rouge/

I bet you all thought there was nothing, I mean NOTHING that could get you to your local bookseller on November 17. That’s the day that Sarah Palin’s memoir Going Rogue hits the shelves, and Palin fans will overwhelm your local Barnes & Noble and Borders to snap up the 400-page tome. Well, grab your Red Bull…or should I say “Rouge Bull” and jump into the fray.

No, I’m not asking you to buy a copy of Sarah Palin’s book. You already know that I’m going to take one for the team and do that so you don’t have to. But there’s a book coming out on the very same day that might hold more appeal.

To anticipate your next question, no this is not a joke, or some fabulous Photoshop creation by the Mudflats Art Department (flyinureye). It is in fact the real cover and the real title of a real book that will be in bookstores on November 17, also too.

<SNIP>

But wait, there’s more! In addition to those listed above, Mudflatters will be able to enjoy essays by Max Blumenthal, Shannyn Moore, and yes,…. yours truly! I was quite honored to be asked to write a piece for the book.

And no worries about the little ones feeling left out of the festivities. On that very same day you can pick up a copy of a kid’s version of Going Rouge!

<SNIP>

and even more anticipated "Renegade, Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man," a tell-all written by Frank Bailey, Sarah's former right-hand man...

http://www.andrewhalcro.com/the_hatchet_man_cometh_franks_tell_all

October 22, 2009: Frank Bailey will finally get to tell his story, but you'll have to buy the book to read it.

Bailey, former Gov. Sarah Palin's right hand man, has signed on with Releve Marketing of San Diego who anounced today that they are in in the process of writing their upcoming book "Renegade: Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man," which they say is from the unique perspective of one of Palin's three inner circle confidants.

In an interview with Joy Morgan this morning, one of the co-authors of the book, she said the book will be "accurate, factual and very documented." She stated the book will tell Bailey's "side of the story."

Of all the characters in Palin's soap opera administration, Frank Bailey is by far the most compelling.

Along with his deleted emails and his recorded phone call released during the Troopergate scandal, which showed him pressuring a State Trooper officer to help get Palin's former brother-in-law fired, his behavior raised questions about just how much the governor knew about Bailey's dirty work.

Palin denied ever knowing about the phone call and called Bailey's action "out of bounds" and "wrong," even though Bailey told the Trooper he was calling on behalf of both the governor and her husband. Palin punished Bailey with a two month paid leave.

According to the co-author Morgan, the title of the book was inspired by a blog I wrote where I labeled Bailey the governor's hatchet man.

This is one book I'd buy just to reconcile all of my blogs with the truth.
